Accounts Payable Officer – 18‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Join Miele's Finance team in Hawthorn East and play a key part in processing supplier invoices, employee reimbursements and payments. You will ensure timely, accurate payments while supporting the broader finance function of a global premium appliance brand.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements and payments in line with company policies.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure creditors are paid within agreed terms.
• Reconcile supplier statements and key accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
• Respond to supplier and internal stakeholder enquiries with professional service.
• Assist with month‑end activities, reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation of AP procedures.
• Support the wider Finance team with administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration role.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Good reconciliation and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP Concur or AS400.
