Accountant – Tax & Business Advisory

About the role

Moore Australia (WA) Pty Ltd is seeking an Accountant to join its Tax and Business Advisory division. You will work with a diverse client base, preparing financial statements, tax returns and activity statements while supporting senior staff with tax planning and research.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and activity statements for clients.
• Coach, mentor and review the work of junior team members.
• Assist Directors and Managers with tax planning, research and advisory services.
• Contribute to a client‑focused, supportive team culture.
• Participate in internal training sessions and professional development.

Required profile

• Degree qualified – Bachelor of Commerce, Business or a similar qualification.
• Commenced CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong judgement, critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Highly motivated with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple client deadlines.
• Current national police clearance (within six months) and Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Competence with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using MYOB.
• Experience using Xero.
