Accountant

About the role

The company is seeking an Accountant to manage bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable, and month‑end close processes. You will also support statutory and regulatory compliance, including tax filings.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations across entities and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare client invoices, monitor receivables and follow up on overdue balances.
• Record supplier invoices, manage payment schedules and settle obligations.
• Execute mid‑month and month‑end closing procedures, post journal entries and prepare inter‑entity reports.
• Assist in preparing tax filings and statutory reports such as BIR forms and annual audited financial statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in full‑cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in XERO with certification.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with statutory compliance and tax filings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
