Accountant – Finance Team (Northbridge, WA)

About the role

Join Ruah’s Finance team as an Accountant and play a pivotal role in supporting financial performance, reporting, compliance and decision‑making across a purpose‑driven organisation. Working closely with the Senior Accountant and stakeholders, you will contribute to month‑end, year‑end and management accounting activities in a collaborative, values‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and complete balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow reporting processes.
• Prepare financial statements and contribute to month‑end and year‑end reporting.
• Process funding claims, client billing and revenue reconciliations, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
• Monitor accounts receivable, investigate discrepancies and support debt‑resolution activities.
• Assist with grant reporting, funding acquittals and compliance obligations.
• Support audit preparation, statutory reporting and financial control activities.

Required profile

• CPA or CA qualified (or working towards qualification).
• Experience in community services, health, mental health, disability, aged care, social services, government or not‑for‑profit organisations is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to partner with stakeholders across the organisation.
