Account Manager – WA

About the role

The Account Manager will safeguard and grow Hostplus’s existing employer and member base in Western Australia, focusing on key accounts and contributing to the fund’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand employer/member portfolios through client engagement strategies, education programmes and issue resolution.
• Record client interactions accurately in the Hostplus CRM system and ensure compliance with national account‑management guidelines and AFSL requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of key account employers, identify new business opportunities and support smooth transitions for large new accounts.
• Build and sustain B2B relationships with stakeholders, attend industry events and provide quarterly service reporting.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of account management experience in a financial‑services environment.
• Ability to analyse employer and member data and communicate insights to internal and external parties.
• Knowledge of industrial‑relations and superannuation issues, including awards and EBAs.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

Required skills

• RG146 accreditation (mandatory for providing general financial advice).
• Proficiency with a CRM system (Hostplus CRM).
