Account Manager - Victoria & Tasmania

About the role

CooperSurgical, a fertility and women's healthcare company offering over 600 medical devices and assisted reproductive technology and genomic testing solutions, is hiring an Account Manager for Victoria and Tasmania. The role provides high-level sales support to healthcare customers across the territory, building long-term relationships, exceeding sales targets and growing market share.

Key responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers, win new customers and develop relationships with existing ones
• Achieve and ideally exceed annual sales targets
• Deliver face-to-face and virtual presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Monitor customer usage, competitor activity and competitor products, and forecast and track key account metrics
• Liaise between customers and internal teams and plan work schedules with the Sales Manager
• Keep clients satisfied and deliver an exceptional customer experience day to day
• Stay up to date with IVF market developments and adapt strategy accordingly
• Help develop and maintain new services in the region, such as warehouse and customer service

Required profile

• Proven account management or other relevant experience
• 5+ years of clinical embryology experience or 5+ years of IVF nursing experience
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once with attention to detail
• Willingness to travel up to 40% around Australia and New Zealand; varied hours for travel, and occasional manual handling and prolonged computer use
