About the role

The Account Manager will drive business development and customer engagement for Howmet Fastening Systems across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. The role involves travelling within and between states to explore and service commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

Identify and progress business development opportunities into commercial realities across sectors such as mining, rail, oil and gas.
Maintain regular contact with existing customers, promote HFS products and achieve sales targets.
Implement new HFS products through detailed project management and marketing programmes.
Provide technical support and product knowledge to internal teams and participate in trade‑show displays.
Maintain a database of contacts and opportunities, reporting barriers to conversion.

Required profile

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) – preferred for technical understanding.
Bachelor of Business or similar – advantageous for commercial and strategic capabilities.
Unencumbered full Victorian driver’s licence – mandatory for travel.
