Account Manager - TBTC Maroochydore

About the role

Telstra is hiring a full-time, on-site Account Manager for its Business Technology Centre (TBTC) in Maroochydore, Queensland. The role focuses on growing and serving small to medium business customers across all technology platforms, with a portfolio of customers to build individual relationships with. It combines sales and service responsibilities in face-to-face, phone, video and email formats, within the Telstra Business Sales segment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of customer relationships to drive customer satisfaction and sales objectives
• Help implement the segment and portfolio strategy, including outbound call campaigns, to retain and grow customer portfolios
• Manage inbound and outbound sales and service contracts, explore sales opportunities, respond to queries, resolve issues and escalate complaints or complex leads to experienced team members
• Collaborate with peers, team members and stakeholders across the TBTC channel (e.g. Field Sales Team and internal Telstra teams and partners) to identify and qualify leads
• Develop and maintain account and portfolio plans that support financial and customer targets (revenue, profitability, NPS) and high-quality customer data
• Meet individual and team sales and performance KPIs
• Keep up to date with Telstra's product and business solution portfolio and take part in coaching and feedback conversations

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability and performance in ICT or Telco sales roles
• Understanding of small and medium business customers and of the technology needed to run a business
• Proven experience in cold and warm calling with potential or existing customers
• Ability to build and maintain relationships through communication and follow-up
• Enjoys coaching and development from leaders
