Account Manager - Manufacturing

About the role

BRITANNIA:FORM2000, one of Australia's most established precision sheet metal manufacturers, is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Account Manager. Reporting to the Group Head of Sales & Client Success, the role strengthens existing customer relationships, identifies new business and drives profitable growth across a diverse customer portfolio. It suits someone who enjoys long-term partnerships and solving customer challenges, and combines on-the-road site visits with office-based account management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and run a structured call cycle across established customer accounts
• Build long-term relationships through face-to-face meetings, site visits and customer engagement
• Pursue new business opportunities with the Group Head of Sales & Client Success
• Expand existing accounts through proactive account management and cross-selling
• Attend customer meetings, industry events and networking events
• Prepare accurate, commercially sound quotations and respond promptly to enquiries
• Work with Engineering, Estimating and Production teams so customer requirements are met
• Maintain CRM records, customer activity reports and project tracking
• Support continuous improvement in sales, customer service and operations

Required profile

• Proven experience in Account Management, Business Development, Sales or Client Relationship Management in manufacturing, steel, sheet metal or engineering
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, sheet metal, steel or industrial industries
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and communication skills
• Proactive, customer-focused, able to work independently in a team
• Knowledge of precision sheet metal manufacturing, steel fabrication or related industries highly regarded

• Base salary of $90,000-$110,000 per year (including super) plus a quarterly performance bonus
