Regional Sales Manager - Independent Retail Channel

About the role

A premium gift and lifestyle brand expanding in Australia is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager in Melbourne. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will manage and grow the independent retail channel across Victoria, including regional areas. Customers are sole traders and family-owned boutique and gift stores. About three days a week you will be on the road with regular regional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with stockists and grow the brand's presence in Victoria
• Lift in-store presentation and visual standards
• Identify new opportunities to open quality new doors

Required profile

• Field sales experience managing independent retail accounts, ideally in gift, toy, homewares, lifestyle, fashion or premium consumer goods
• Strong knowledge of the Victorian independent retail landscape, including gift and boutique stores in metro and regional towns
• An eye for in-store presentation and understanding of premium or luxury brand positioning
• Track record of growing accounts and opening new accounts
• Natural relationship builder with energy and passion for the brand
• Current driver's licence and happy to travel three days a week
• Organised, self-motivated with solid basic PC skills
