Account Manager

About the role

Onsite Rental Group is seeking a motivated Account Manager to join its Gladstone branch. Reporting to the Team Leader Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the existing customer base while generating new business within your assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing accounts across multiple industries, including mining, oil & gas, construction and government.
• Identify and convert new sales opportunities in line with the company’s sales plan.
• Conduct regular cold‑calling and outreach to increase awareness of Onsite’s equipment hire portfolio.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers, attending events, trade shows and conferences.
• Prepare hire quotes, support tender submissions and ensure accurate client data in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the branch team to deliver exceptional customer service and support sales activities.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in hire, capital equipment, industrial or related sectors.
• Willingness and ability to perform cold‑calling, both in person and by phone.
• Track record of attracting and retaining new business.
• Ability to work safely and autonomously in the field.
• Resilience, problem‑solving mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
