Account Manager – Industrial Solutions

About the role

The Account Manager will own a defined Queensland territory, driving commercial performance and long‑term growth for a market‑leading industrial solutions provider. You will be the primary face of the business, building lasting customer partnerships and influencing the company’s strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across the territory by cultivating strong customer relationships and uncovering new commercial opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase share of wallet and retain key accounts.
• Act as a trusted advisor to decision‑makers, delivering tailored industrial solutions that address customer challenges.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to ensure value‑adding solutions and margin performance.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of new business and proactively manage the full customer lifecycle.

Required profile

• 4+ years of proven field sales or territory management experience with a record of account growth.
• Background in industrial, MRO, fluid power, engineering services or other technically complex B2B environments.
• Self‑directed, commercially accountable and consistently meets sales and margin targets.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a reputation for reliability and problem‑solving.
• Existing exposure to mining, manufacturing or heavy‑industry networks is essential.
