Account Manager – Equipment Hire Solutions

About the role

Coates, Australia’s leading equipment hire and solutions provider, is seeking a driven Account Manager for its Winnellie team in Darwin. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will own a diverse customer portfolio, grow revenue and deliver tailored equipment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a portfolio of customers across construction, infrastructure, industrial and events sectors.
• Identify growth opportunities, negotiate contracts and achieve quarterly sales targets.
• Develop strategic account plans based on customer needs and market analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery of safe, efficient equipment solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within construction, industrial, equipment hire or related fields.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to analyse customer requirements and create strategic plans.
• Resilient, proactive and able to work independently on the road.
• Current and valid driver’s licence.
