Account Manager – Customer Growth & Retention

About the role

Elgas Limited is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth and retain key customers across Canning Vale, Perth and surrounding regions. You will manage a portfolio of accounts, develop new business opportunities and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Increase profitability of the portfolio through effective price, contract management and product substitution.
• Identify, develop and commercialise growth opportunities in existing accounts and new prospects.
• Build and maintain mutually rewarding relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Provide technical support and tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal functions to deliver seamless service.
• Undertake extensive regional travel, including long‑distance driving (10‑12 hours) and overnight stays as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field sales, account management or territory sales.
• Strong sales and business development abilities, including negotiation and customer relationship management.
• Sound understanding of pricing strategies, contract management and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent time‑management, verbal and written communication skills.
• High energy, confidence and a results‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
