Account Executive

About the role

Inductive Automation Australia is seeking a motivated Account Executive to join its fast‑growing team in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. This full‑time, office‑based position blends technical solutions selling with proactive account management to drive growth of the company’s industrial platform.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously expand knowledge of Inductive Automation’s products and target verticals.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proof‑of‑concepts, and demos that showcase technical benefits.
• Represent the brand at industry events, conferences and trade shows.
• Identify new business opportunities and nurture long‑term growth with existing clients.
• Create accurate sales proposals, quotes and reports in collaboration with Sales Engineering.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience selling industrial automation software (SCADA, MES, IIoT, PLCs).
• Proven technical sales or product consulting background.
• Proficiency with modern CRM tools; HubSpot experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage engineers to executives.
• Willingness to travel for on‑site or virtual customer meetings.
