Account Executive - Consumer PR

About the role

Herd MSL, part of Publicis Groupe ANZ, is looking for a curious, proactive Account Executive to kick-start a career in consumer PR. This is a hands-on role supporting press office and media pitching, campaigns, events and influencer activity, with the chance to work across a portfolio of iconic brands.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor news and culture to spot opportunities for clients
• Draft media materials such as press releases, alerts and story angles
• Pitch to journalists and build media relationships
• Support campaigns, events, influencer and project work
• Manage day-to-day account tasks (WIPs, reporting, tracking)
• Contribute ideas across press office and creative campaigns
• Collaborate with senior team members across multiple accounts

Required profile

• Approximately 1-2+ years in PR, comms, media, marketing or similar (agency, in-house or internships)
• Strong interest in consumer PR and storytelling
• Confidence pitching to media
• Organised, collaborative and proactive, with a curiosity to learn and openness to feedback

Required skills

• Great writing and attention to detail
• Bonus: social, influencer or content experience
