5-Day IHC Educator – ECEC (10-Month-Old Child)

About the role

A loving family in Rye, Victoria is seeking a caring, energetic and nurturing educator to provide individualised care for a 10-month-old child who experiences developmental delays, with current abilities comparable to those of a three-month-old. The child is highly social, enjoys outdoor pram walks to the beach and nearby parks, and loves sensory experiences and exploration of the natural environment. Two older siblings will also join care at times before and after school and during school holidays.

Schedule and pay

• 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Mondays and Fridays, and 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
• Pay of $41.94 to $47.28 per hour (L1-L3) including tax and super; insurance and workcover costs are covered by the employer, who also processes tax and super payments.
• Flexible days and times, which may change depending on the child's medical appointment needs.

Required profile

• Working towards or holding a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care or another IHC-relevant ACECQA-approved qualification such as a Bachelor of Primary Education, and registered with the relevant state authority.
• At least 3 references.
• WWCC, police check, CPR and HLTAID012 First Aid.
• Car and driver's licence.
• Willingness to commit for at least 12 months and full working rights in Australia (visas such as 190 or 186 may be considered; applicants on 417 and 462 visas should not apply).
