About the role
A major Federal Government digital transformation program is seeking three experienced Salesforce/Vlocity Developers to join its team in Sydney. The work delivers citizen-focused technology solutions in a high-performing Agile environment, alongside developers, architects and delivery professionals, and contributes to the organisation's growing AI development capabilities. The initial term is 12 months with a possible 12-month extension, hybrid work and locations in NSW or VIC.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Vlocity solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures and DataRaptors
- Help establish AI-assisted development capabilities using Claude Code within Salesforce environments
- Design, build and maintain REST API integrations and event-driven solutions
- Use source control and package-based development with GitLab, GitHub or Bitbucket
- Support Agile delivery teams using Jira, Bitbucket and modern DevOps practices
- Work with technical and business stakeholders and contribute to accessible, inclusive digital experiences
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on Salesforce Vlocity development experience
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience/Community Cloud
- Understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform best practices
- Passion for accessibility and inclusive design
- Australian citizenship is mandatory; most candidates hold a baseline security clearance
Required skills
- Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors)
- Object-oriented programming, frameworks and design patterns
- GitLab, GitHub or Bitbucket, REST APIs and Platform Events
- Package-based development and DevOps practices
- Desirable: three or more Salesforce CRM implementations in Agile settings, Platform Developer I and II and OmniStudio Developer certifications, and experience with AI implementation in enterprise environments
