About the role
Hudson Mitre 10 Queanbeyan is looking for a reliable, energetic team player to join its Trade Yard team. This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, suited to someone who enjoys physical work, variety in the day and helping tradies and builders get what they need quickly.
Key responsibilities
- Receive incoming goods, process invoices and organise credits
- Load and unload trucks with timber and building materials
- Keep stock organised and ensure deliveries are accurate
- Help tradies in the yard and sort their orders quickly and efficiently
- Pick and pack orders for delivery
- Replenish stock and keep the yard clean and safe
- Put safety and customer service first every day
Required profile
- A current forklift licence (essential)
- Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Good communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Sharp eye for detail and a sense of urgency
- Previous supervisory experience is desirable
Timber and hardware knowledge is helpful but will be taught if you are keen to learn.
