Workshop Technician – Refrigeration (Hazelmere)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Technician with a strong refrigeration background to join our Customer Experience team in Hazelmere. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and testing major home appliances in a fast‑paced workshop environment, working Monday‑Friday 6:00 am‑2:30 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and fully test major home appliances, ensuring quality and performance standards.
• Evaluate faults, determine the appropriate repair approach and complete quality repairs across refrigeration, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and stoves.
• Support, guide and teach two apprentices, sharing practical knowledge and developing their skills.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of appliance repair, fault finding and troubleshooting experience.
• Solid refrigeration background with a Domestic Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARC Tick).
• Restricted Electrical Workers Licence.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams and technical documentation.
• Methodical approach to diagnosing faults and completing quality repairs.
• Commitment to customer service, safety and doing the job right the first time.
