Welcome Agent – Guest Service Role

About the role

Join the vibrant team at W Hotels Sydney as a Welcome Agent, delivering memorable guest experiences with a blend of professionalism and playful charm. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑ins, check‑outs and providing local information.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, assign rooms, activate keys and handle all payment types.
• Manage check‑outs, resolve late or disputed charges, and send e‑folios.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to confirm room readiness and address guest concerns.
• Answer guest calls, messages and inquiries, providing property and local area information.
• Run daily arrival/departure reports, complete cashier and closing reports, and balance cash drawers.

Required profile

• Charismatic, enthusiastic and able to maintain a lively atmosphere.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle guest issues promptly.
• Attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and cash handling.
• Ability to process various payment methods (cash, credit, debit, checks).
