Web & Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

About the role

A small, tight-knit digital marketing agency is looking for a creative Web & Graphic Designer to help take over its clients' web work. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be trained and guided through the agency's processes and checklists while applying your own style. The role is casual or part-time (2-3 days per week) in West Perth, with opportunity for progression to full-time for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update websites across content management systems, mostly WordPress using the Divi theme
• Create and optimise landing pages for advertising campaigns
• Build websites for clients and for the agency's own brands
• Represent the agency in internal and external communications and act as a brand ambassador
• Attend networking events and take part in team strategy and brainstorming sessions
• Perform other tasks as required

Required profile

• Proven practical experience building mobile and SEO-friendly WordPress websites
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail and creativity
• Organised, accountable to deadlines and open to changing priorities and feedback
• Passion for helping businesses grow

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and PHP
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Analytical tools and statistics
• Desirable: logo/graphic design, basic SEO, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, e-commerce sites (WooCommerce and Shopify)
