About the role

Liquid Instruments builds test and measurement technology for engineers and scientists, using FPGA-based hardware and software-defined platforms. It is recruiting a Web Developer to maintain and continuously improve its website, liquidinstruments.com, and to support its fast-moving Marketing team with marketing-focused initiatives such as CRM integrations, analytics, conversion pipelines and eCommerce improvements. The role suits an experienced developer who enjoys shipping new features and keeping the site healthy, secure and well maintained. It is based in Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Implement website enhancements, upgrades and integrations, and monitor performance to optimise the user experience
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, web accessibility standards, security and development best practices
• Maintain and improve the eCommerce store experience
• Implement and maintain marketing initiatives including CRM integration, analytics and conversion pipelines
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Design and Cloud teams on digital projects and campaigns

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in front-end and full-stack web development
• Comfortable supporting a fast-moving Marketing team with shifting priorities
• Collaborative, takes ownership of the website and cares about accessibility, security and performance

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, AJAX and JSON
• Advanced PHP and MySQL
• Version control and CI/CD
• Responsive design from Figma; CMS experience including WordPress, Gutenberg and ACF
• A/B testing and SEO/AEO/GEO knowledge
• Nice to have: HubSpot or similar CRM, payment gateways, Vue or similar framework, marketing or agency experience
