Web Designer (WordPress & Elementor)

About the role

Yo Media is looking for a skilled and proactive Web Designer to join its team on a full-time, remote basis in Australia. The role focuses on designing, updating and optimising websites built with WordPress and Elementor, with a clear emphasis on lead generation and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build landing pages for Google Ads campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
• Optimise existing client websites for conversions, improving user experience and lead generation.
• Oversee lead generation efforts, including phone tracking and contact form submission journeys.
• Implement SEO updates such as page design, heading tags, image optimisation and internal linking.
• Manage website hosting, including backups, migrations and plugin/theme updates.
• Make basic CSS and JS changes to improve site functionality and user experience.
• Optimise page load speed and handle graphic design for website assets and icons.
• Use tools such as Google Analytics, Site Kit, Tag Manager, HubSpot, Asana, Gravity Forms, Postmark SMTP and RankMath to track performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a digital marketing agency is preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong communication and collaboration with account managers, SEO and Google Ads leads.
• Punctuality, proactiveness and problem-solving ability.

Required skills

• Strong skills with WordPress, Elementor and Divi.
• Familiarity with Asana, Google Suite, WPengine, HubSpot, Gravity Forms, RankMath and similar tools is an advantage; training is provided.
