Waste Contamination Officer

About the role

Veolia ANZ is looking for a Waste Contamination Officer to join its team in Arndell Park. The role is a Contamination Management position that requires continuous availability to carry out walking inspections under Schedule 15 of the Georges River Contract.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct early morning (4:00 AM start) walking inspections of waste streams such as organics and recycling bins and MUD buildings within the Georges River Council area.
• Develop and manage waste compliance projects, delivering professionally for Veolia's clients.
• Implement WasteTrack system processes across residential contracts to meet council KPIs.
• Manage contamination reporting and monitoring, including resident communications and site visits.
• Collaborate with council, residents and stakeholders on waste compliance.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in community engagement and dealing with people's behaviour and change.
• Valid C Class driver's licence.
• Shortlisted candidates must be prepared for a full pre-employment medical check including drug and alcohol screening, and for a National Police Clearance.
