About the role
Elders is looking for a Support Officer Livestock to join its Roma team on a fixed-term, full-time basis. You will support Elders livestock staff during the execution of sales through the entire end-to-end process, including moving livestock in a safe and orderly manner. The day is varied.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales processing team and the livestock team
- Assist during the execution of sales
- Work constructively with other team members to support a collaborative culture
Required profile
- Experience in handling livestock
- Sales yard experience
- Understanding of livestock products and safe livestock handling practices
- Training in relevant workplace health and safety (WHS) practices
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
