Warehouse Team Member - Forklift Operator

About the role

Metalcorp, a steel and aluminium distributor specialising in rural products, is looking for a Warehouse Team Member - Forklift Operator to join its Toowoomba, Queensland warehousing team. This is a full-time, permanent role with operations Monday to Friday, with consistent hours rotating fortnightly between 7:00am-3:00pm and 8:00am-4:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, assemble and load orders, and handle dispatch duties
• Meet and greet customers
• Safely load and unload trucks and customer pickups
• Operate forklifts, cranes and other machine processing equipment
• Pick and pack from on-site stock to create specific orders
• Look after the safety of yourself and your co-workers

Required profile

• A forklift licence that is active and current
• A commitment to safety and care for others
• Effective communication skills and a can-do attitude
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to be physically active, on their feet and working with their hands
