Warehouse Manager - Health Care Logistics

About the role

MNX, a UPS company, is recruiting a Warehouse Manager for a high-volume health care logistics facility. The role coordinates supply chain and distribution operations, leads and manages multiple logistics and supply chain initiatives, and covers warehousing, transportation, inventory and purchasing. It also supports system migration activities such as HELIX, CTMS, MAESTRO, MXWMS and Cargo Wise.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply chain and distribution activities across warehouse and dispatch operations.
• Develop, implement and oversee purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans.
• Plan and maintain optimal stock levels to meet demand while minimising costs.
• Manage outbound dispatch, including scheduling, prioritisation and on-time delivery performance.
• Monitor inventory levels, oversee stock allocation and evaluate storage and inventory systems.
• Negotiate supplier contracts for quality, cost-effectiveness and reliable delivery.
• Act as liaison between warehouse teams, transport providers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor distribution KPIs such as delivery performance, stock accuracy and freight metrics, and keep accurate dispatch and inventory records.
• Lead, train and supervise warehouse and dispatch staff, ensuring performance standards and safety compliance.
• Support continuous improvement of WMS, HELIX processes and operational workflows, and assist in managing logistics service providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing logistics or supply chain operations and related projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills; analytical, problem-solving and risk management abilities.
• Able to work from complex instructions and procedures, coordinate in a team under limited supervision and take responsibility for the quality of own work.
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cold environment of -4 degrees Celsius for short periods and stay constantly alert and safe.

What we offer

• Annual salary of $94,512 plus superannuation.
