Warehouse Administration Officer

About the role

O’Brien® Glass is looking for an experienced Warehouse Administration Officer to support its Wholesale team at the Padstow Distribution Centre. The role combines customer‑facing service with a range of administrative tasks to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional face‑to‑face and phone customer service, check stock availability and process EFTPOS payments.
• Maintain accurate stock spreadsheets, create and confirm pick slips, and complete invoicing and basic reporting.
• Book and consign transport, support emergency freight paperwork, and manage driver accommodation bookings.
• Coordinate timesheets for casual staff, assist with onboarding and induction paperwork, and provide cross‑training in container workflows.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous administration or customer‑service experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management abilities and the capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Medius for invoice processing.
