Waitstaff - Bistecca

About the role

Bistecca, part of Liquid & Larder, is an intimate 50-seat Italian restaurant in Sydney with an old-world cocktail bar, open hearth kitchen and two private dining spaces. It is looking for a waitstaff member to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, manage their section to Bistecca's standards, build guest relationships and keep the service seamless.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service according to venue guidelines and the sequence of service
• Deliver food and beverage to guests with attention to detail
• Maintain the section to Bistecca standards
• Handle venue set up and pack down
• Build and maintain guest relationships
• Contribute positively to venue culture

Required profile

• Proven experience in premium or hatted venues
• Confident, calm demeanour with the ability to pivot between roles
• High attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest interaction
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, including Sundays
