Village Manager - Horsham

About the role

Eureka Villages, one of Australia's leading providers of affordable community living, is hiring a Village Manager for its Horsham village. This is a hands-on, full-time leadership role following the internal promotion of a current team member, with a salary of $80,000 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation and up to 15% village manager incentive. The manager oversees day-to-day operations, builds strong relationships with residents and keeps the community safe, welcoming and well managed.

Key responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with residents and create a welcoming, connected village community
• Coordinate day-to-day village operations, administration and resident enquiries
• Manage tenancies, including applications, agreements, renewals, entry and exit processes and related documentation
• Support occupancy and help prospective residents through the enquiry and application process
• Coordinate contractors, maintenance and the presentation of the village
• Maintain accurate records and ensure operations meet safety, compliance and organisational requirements
• Work closely with the Regional Manager and the wider Eureka team to improve the resident experience

Required profile

• Experience in village, property, accommodation, community, hospitality or a similar hands-on operational environment
• Confident managing administration, competing priorities and day-to-day operational issues
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
• Comfortable working autonomously while knowing when to seek support
• Previous experience in retirement living or village management is valuable, though strong transferable experience is also considered

Required skills

• Good computer skills and confidence learning systems and keeping accurate records
• Understanding of safety, compliance, confidentiality and respectful treatment of residents
