Veterinary Technologist – Build a New Clinic

About the role

Join the founding team of Hope Island Central Vet, a brand‑new companion‑animal clinic on the Gold Coast. As the dedicated Veterinary Technologist you will apply scientific knowledge and technical expertise to enhance patient care and support the veterinary team from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced patient monitoring and anaesthesia support during procedures.
• Perform diagnostic laboratory procedures and assist with imaging, including onsite CT scans.
• Support medical and surgical patient care and contribute to clinical protocol development.
• Educate clients and communicate findings clearly.
• Mentor nursing staff and help improve workflow and evidence‑based practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Veterinary Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Strong clinical and technical skills with experience in diagnostics, monitoring and imaging.
• Excellent communication and a passion for learning.
• Enthusiasm for building a new clinic and shaping a dedicated technologist role.
