Vehicle Operations Specialist

About the role

Join Mazda Australia as a Vehicle Operations Specialist, coordinating the movement of new vehicles from ship to showroom across the national dealer network. You will work on‑site full‑time, collaborating with dealers, internal teams and logistics partners to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new vehicle shipping, stock processing, transport bookings and wholesaling to support timely deliveries.
• Monitor shipping schedules, vessel arrivals and vehicle movements, providing updates to dealerships and internal stakeholders.
• Analyse operational data and report on KPIs such as on‑time delivery, transit damage and direct off‑wharf performance.
• Build strong relationships with dealerships, shipping lines, port operators and third‑party logistics providers to resolve operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records, support stocktakes, finance release processes and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting to drive greater efficiency.

Required profile

• Analytical and organised professional with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• At least three years of business experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
