Vehicle Compliance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Vehicle Compliance Officer to join our automotive operations in Richmond, Victoria. Reporting to the National Transactional Services Manager and the National Administration and Process Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end management of fines and tolls across the Dutton Automotive Group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of fines nationally, from receipt (post or online) through investigation, nomination, payment and resolution.
• Conduct thorough investigations to attribute fines correctly, obtain statutory declarations and attend mediations when required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure fines are cleared from portals once resolved.
• Oversee toll accounts for all business units (Linkt, EastLink, E‑Toll), audit vehicle lists, add new vehicles and remove sold vehicles promptly.
• Monitor toll usage, identify anomalies and recommend cost‑saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements for fines and tolls; prepare regular reports on trends, costs and resolution status.
• Liaise with internal teams (sales, operations, finance) and external authorities or toll providers to resolve issues.
• Manage national registration income processes, monitor, reconcile and optimise registration‑related revenue.
• Process incoming correspondence and distribute documentation to appropriate internal stakeholders.
