VCE English Teacher - Senior School

About the role

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (PEGS) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced VCE English teachers for a full-time ongoing position starting in January 2027. The role is based at the Senior School (Years 11-12) and Middle School on the Keilor East campus, in a collaborative faculty committed to academic excellence and student outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English teaching to Years 11 and 12 students and Middle School students
• Use current pedagogical thinking to enhance student learning
• Commit to student care and wellbeing
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the senior English curriculum and assessment
• Experience teaching VCE English is required
• High expectations for student learning and achievement
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to professional collaboration and continuous improvement
