About the role

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (PEGS) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced VCE Mathematics teachers to join its Senior School (Years 11-12, co-educational) at the Keilor East campus in 2027. The position is full time and ongoing, and is open to teachers of VCE Mathematical Methods. The school is described as having excellent programmes and facilities, and the faculty is collaborative and committed to academic excellence and evidence-informed practice.

Required profile

• Experience teaching VCE Mathematics, specialising in Mathematical Methods and General Mathematics
• Outstanding, inspiring classroom teachers committed to contemporary, evidence-informed practice
• Able to set high expectations for student learning and achievement
• Skilled communicator building strong relationships with students, colleagues and families
• Committed to student care, wellbeing, professional collaboration and continuous improvement

The Senior School takes place in a purpose-built Larkin Centre focused on academic achievement, wellbeing and preparation for life beyond school.
