Underground Mining Project Manager - USA

About the role

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is looking for an experienced underground mining project manager to join its USA operations on a residential basis. As Project Manager you take full accountability for the operational, financial, safety and environmental performance of the project, drive operational excellence, build high-performing teams, strengthen client relationships and deliver outstanding results while upholding Barminco's commitment to safety.

Required profile

• Ideally qualified in Mining Engineering, with a proven track record managing underground contract mining operations and leading teams in complex environments.
• Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated underground industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years managing and executing high-productivity underground mining contracts.
• Clear Federal Police clearance.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of underground mining methods, equipment and operational best practices.
• Sound commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Understanding of contractual obligations and commercial agreements.
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Commitment to safety leadership and a positive safety culture.
