Tyre Fitter – Mining Project Near Glenden

About the role

Myndshift Group is recruiting Tyre Fitters for a specific mining project near the township of Glenden, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The work involves repairs and preventative maintenance on a large truck fleet, including Hitachi EH5000 and CAT 794 electric trucks, and CAT 785, 789 and 793 mechanical trucks.

Key responsibilities

• Remove, fit and repair tyres, rims and wheel assemblies on heavy mining equipment
• Diagnose and resolve tyre-related issues
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas to a high standard

Required profile

• Cert II in Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting
• Current driver's licence
• High risk licence desirable
• Standard 11 certificate (statement of attainment)
• Proof of Australian working rights
• National police check
