Truck, Multi-Skilled & Excavator Operators - Foxleigh Coal Mine

About the role

Protech is recruiting experienced Haul Truck, Multi-Skilled and Excavator Operators for the Foxleigh Coal Mine near Middlemount, in the Bowen Basin. The work is on a 7/7 rotating day and night roster, with camp accommodation and meals provided about 25-30 minutes from the site. The positions are temporary, with permanent employment pathways available through Protech and its client.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery efficiently and safely as an experienced production operator
• Comply with the site's policies and procedures
• Follow instructions from the Mining Supervisor

Required profile

• Minimum of 18 months of demonstrated production coal experience operating machinery
• Health assessment (Coal Board medical) or willingness to obtain one
• Standard 11
• Current driver's licence
• Two contactable references verifying experience and skills
• Right to work in Australia

Required skills

• Haul truck: production experience with CAT 785/789/793
• Multi-skilled: production experience with CAT D10T, D11T, 14H, 16H, 24H
• Excavator: production experience with LIB 994, 996, 9800, HIT 3600, 5500
• Civil upskill pathway available for entry-level candidates
