About the role

Join a dedicated team of cruise enthusiasts and help customers transform their travel dreams into unforgettable cruise holidays. As a Travel Consultant you will work in a Cruiseabout store, providing expert advice and personalised service to guests seeking ocean or river cruise experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Quote, book and invoice cruise bookings and packages with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Provide outstanding service across walk‑in, email and phone enquiries.
• Upsell and cross‑sell additional products to maximise each customer’s experience.
• Monitor and respond to relevant mailboxes on a daily basis.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to recommend the ideal cruise for each client.

Required profile

• Proven customer‑service experience with a focus on meeting sales targets.
• Passion for travel and cruising, with a desire to help others plan memorable trips.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Motivation, organisation and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Required skills

• Experience with a Global Distribution System (GDS) – preferred.
