Transport Supervisor

About the role

Toll Group's Global Logistics division is seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor for its Grocery Division in Minchinbury, NSW. The role reports to the Operations Manager and covers daily transport operations, driver coordination and fleet movements, keeping deliveries safe, efficient and on time across the Sydney basin. It is a 12-month fixed term contract on a 7-day fortnight shift pattern (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every second Wednesday, 04:00am to 4:00pm).

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily transport operations and labour resources to meet service level targets.
• Manage the dispatch of drivers, trucks and shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OHS and site requirements.
• Build relationships with drivers, customers and operational stakeholders.
• Monitor delivery performance and resolve operational issues and delays proactively.
• Drive operational efficiency while supporting profitability and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a transport, logistics, fleet or operations supervisory position.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to transport operations, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Fatigue Management is highly regarded.
• Entitlement to work in Australia and willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
