Training and Engagement Specialist

About the role

The Reject Shop is expanding rapidly as part of Dollarama and needs a Training & Engagement Specialist to shape employee experiences across stores, distribution centres and support functions. You will translate complex information into simple, engaging messages, deliver impactful training, and keep teams informed and connected.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and continuously improve national compliance training programs, from creation to reporting and completion tracking.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, including annual and pulse surveys, and drive action planning with leaders.
• Manage and enhance store onboarding programs to ensure consistent new‑starter experiences.
• Create clear communications, learning content and resources for employees across the business.
• Own day‑to‑day management of WorkJam and promote participation on learning and engagement platforms.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Technology and People & Culture to support projects, change initiatives and capability development.
• Use employee feedback, training data and engagement insights to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in training, learning & development, employee engagement, internal communications or a similar People & Culture role.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• Proven ability to coordinate training programs, onboarding activities or compliance learning initiatives.
• Confidence building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders across a large, multi‑site organisation.
• Proactive, organised approach with a passion for making things simple, engaging and effective.
