Trainer and Assessor – Certificate III in Individual Support

About the role

The Trainer and Assessor for Certificate III in Individual Support will work full‑time on‑site in the Greater Perth area, delivering and assessing the CHC33021 qualification. The role focuses on facilitating classroom and simulated workplace learning while ensuring compliance with RTO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and review training sessions using contemporary methods and aligned learning resources.
• Facilitate classroom and simulated workplace activities, provide guidance, feedback and monitor learner progress.
• Conduct competency‑based assessments, maintain accurate training and assessment records, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to keep content current and support diverse learners.

Required profile

• Relevant vocational qualification in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Community Services (minimum Certificate III, preferably higher).
• Current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
• Experience delivering and assessing CHC33021 or similar community services qualifications.
• Valid working rights in Australia and willingness to undergo background checks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with learning management systems and online training resources.
• Strong digital literacy using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
