About the role
K&B Mitre 10 is hiring a Trade Yard Team Member for its Norwood site. The successful candidate provides excellent customer service, works well in a team and contributes to the store's performance. This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the health and safety of staff, customers and contractors within the department
- Serve customers by helping them with their orders and giving fast, efficient service
- Pick orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
- Put away stock, mainly timber and associated products
Required profile
- Strong customer focus and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good prioritisation to meet deadlines
- Physically fit, as heavy lifting is required
- An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
- Class C car licence (a must); forklift licence highly regarded
