Tour Guide – Driver Guide for Australian Adventures

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Tour Guides to join SEIT’s adventure team across Australia’s most iconic landscapes. As a Driver Guide you will lead small groups on off‑the‑beaten‑path tours, combining safe vehicle operation with engaging storytelling and cultural immersion.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safely to remote destinations while ensuring passenger comfort and compliance with local regulations.
• Deliver informative and entertaining commentary about natural, historical and cultural points of interest.
• Interact with local communities, gather stories and share authentic experiences with guests.
• Provide first‑aid assistance when needed and maintain basic vehicle upkeep.
• Promote responsible alcohol service and adhere to safety standards throughout the tour.

Required profile

• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Customer‑service experience.
• First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• NT Vehicle Passenger Authority and Responsible Service of Alcohol or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering quality service.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and reasonable fitness level.
