Textile Designer

About the role

ZIMMERMANN is seeking a creative and driven Textile Designer to lead artwork design and development from concept to bulk, ensuring every print and textile embodies the brand’s signature aesthetic. This newly created permanent position offers the chance to shape the look and feel of globally recognised collections.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and design team on seasonal concepts and research creative ideas.
• Create original artworks for seasonal collections, ensuring originality and compliance with IP rules.
• Prepare technical artwork, including repeats, colour separations, placement prints, and engineering to pattern markers.
• Grade and nest placement artworks, meet seasonal deadlines, and maintain an organized design room.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Textile Design.
• Previous experience as a textile designer.
• Outstanding creative instincts with a distinct point of view in colour, texture and patterns.
• Immaculate attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Knowledge of PLM systems (C8 experience highly regarded).
• Working knowledge of Clo 3D.
