Test Manager - Mission Software Systems

About the role

Leidos Australia's Mission Software Systems (MSS) team, which covers intelligence, software and cloud, is looking for a Test Manager in Melbourne. You will lead test planning, governance and delivery across complex systems and integrated environments, coordinating test resources, environments, data and dependencies so that solutions meet functional, technical and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the test strategy, master test plan, schedules, entry and exit criteria and reporting framework.
• Coordinate functional, system, integration, performance, security and user acceptance testing across delivery teams.
• Manage defects, test risks, environment constraints and dependencies, with clear prioritisation and escalation.
• Provide evidence-based reporting on test progress, coverage, quality and release readiness.
• Build capabilities for both procedural and automated testing.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and an active NV-1 security clearance; eligibility to obtain and maintain the clearance is required.
• Experience managing testing across complex technology, engineering or transformation programs.
• Ability to lead test teams and coordinate vendors, engineers and business representatives.
• Advantageous: experience with ASDEFCON testing programs, test automation, performance testing or service virtualisation, and exposure to large-scale systems integration or regulated environments.
