Territory Specialist – Diabetes Care (Western Sydney)

About the role

Abbott's ADC Diabetes Care division is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to cover the Western Sydney area. This is a 6-month contract position based in Macquarie Park, with travel of about 20% of the time. The role delivers education and support to healthcare professionals such as GPs and Nurse Practitioners through quarterly appointments.

Key responsibilities

• Promote product recommendations and awareness through face-to-face and virtual interactions with healthcare professionals
• Deliver educational sessions to healthcare professionals and consumers as set out in the annual marketing plan
• Manage expenditures to meet spending KPIs and maintain quarterly KPIs for coverage and frequency
• Use Sales Force and other internal systems effectively
• Work with NSW and national teams to promote product adoption, and attend national sales meetings and industry events as required
• Communicate clinical and medical data with strong knowledge of disease states

Required profile

• Experience in a sales role, preferably in healthcare
• Degree or diploma in a science or nursing discipline
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets
• Quickly adaptable, self-motivated and able to work independently

• Superior, concise and articulate communication
• Knowledge of clinical and medical data and disease states
• Proficiency with Sales Force and internal systems

The base pay is not stated; pay ranges may vary by location. The role involves continuous sitting for more than two hours in an eight-hour day.
