Sales Manager ANZ - Rapid Diagnostics

About the role

Abbott's Rapid Diagnostics division provides same-day diagnostic tests for healthcare professionals and patients. As Sales Manager ANZ, you lead the business development, relationship management and sales strategy for the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics product portfolio in Australia and New Zealand, working closely with marketing and the regional GM Cluster Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run short-, medium- and long-term business plans and sales strategies to grow sales, profits and market share in ANZ.
• Identify opportunities in traditional and new markets and coordinate their implementation.
• Sell Abbott products to existing and potential customers and build new market segments.
• Hold regular business reviews across the ANZ region and collaborate with Commercial, Marketing and Operational leaders.
• Prepare tenders and sales proposals and lead strategic projects.
• Represent ARDx at sales meetings, congresses and trade shows, and give market feedback to marketing and senior leadership.
• Manage and develop a team, oversee training, handle leave and expense requests, and comply with quality, occupational health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in science, business or management, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of sales or management experience leading a team with strong revenue results.
• National or regional management and channel development experience in ANZ.
• Experience developing business opportunities at senior levels of customer organisations, including B2B.
