About the role
Fever is seeking a Tenant Fit Out Manager to lead the production team delivering touring and recurring experiences across Australia and New Zealand. The role oversees all aspects of fit‑out production, from feasibility and budgeting to venue preparation and on‑site build, ensuring high‑quality events are delivered on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Australia Production team, fostering a supportive environment and developing team members.
- Assess regional projects, allocate work to internal staff or freelancers, and monitor progress toward deliverables.
- Provide build expertise during feasibility and planning stages, including kit movement, trucking plans, and cross‑loading.
- Oversee venue procurement, permits, insurance, and technical validation for diverse site types.
- Manage build costing, monitor budgets, and proactively identify cost overruns.
- Maintain a directory of freelancers, service providers, and industry contacts.
Required profile
- 7+ years of commercial fit‑out or construction management experience, with 1‑2 years of people‑management experience.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay within budgets in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
- Strong leadership, initiative, and clear prioritisation skills.
- Broad network of vendors and venues, and experience navigating permitting, licensing and safety regulations.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of local government permitting, event permits, planning, building and signage approvals.
- Experience with Australian liquor licensing regulations across states.
- Understanding of BCA requirements, fire codes and other safety standards for indoor and outdoor public spaces.
- Construction and fit‑out budgeting, cost control and vendor management.
- Technical production requirements and basic fabrication techniques.
